Peyote Bird
Mark Alexander and his wife Martha started Peyote Bird Designs in 1973 as a door-to-door jewelry enterprise. It began as a result of old-fashioned trading with various Indian pueblos in Northern New Mexico, but soon encompassed other artists, cultures and its own designs. Today, from their studio in Santa Fe, and workshops around the world, they produce their own line of unique jewelry. The essence of their jewelry comes from the roots of their cultural heritage, which inspires the designs. Each piece is generally handmade by an individual artisan from start to finish.
